From industry-leading vision and analysis, to practical “problem-solution” sessions, the Technology Conference (ICTC) provides the content, the forum and the access to industry experts who are known and trusted.

This annual event is unique to the industry and has had consistent growth year after year, due to its value to all stakeholders. The ICTC grew out of our highly successful half day technology seminars, became an annual full day event 12 years ago and the current two-day format in 2014 with more than 500 delegates.

As well as strategy and leadership sessions of interest to all delegates, there are breakout sessions and boot-camps that focus on specific technologies and sectors of the industry, such as distribution and carriers.

The conference attracts a wide variety of industry luminaries, including CIOs and senior IT managers, senior underwriting and marketing managers, broker principals, operations managers, technology officers, and claims service providers.

For technology suppliers, this event offers an unparalleled opportunity to meet industry experts as well as key IT decision-makers in your target market. You can build new relationships, strengthen existing relations and participate in discussions at a much focused level. There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available that address supplier needs and budgets. Further information is available through the sales team.

“Technology: A Two-Edged Sword”
February 29, 2016, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

While technology offers operational and strategic advantages, the same tools can also introduce serious, unexpected consequences. This is the double-edged sword of technology in the 21st century.

By definition, technology implementation requires internal staff and process adjustments. More significantly, however, technology can require a re-definition of an organization's strategies and business model. In addition, the same technology can pave the way for external, disruptive strategies from existing and new competitors.

At the 2016 Technology Conference, you will hear from practitioners, analysts and suppliers, who will share their experiences with technology implementations to help you anticipate and mitigate adverse consequences. ICTC2016 will feature presentations from practitioners, suppliers, and analysts who are proactively addressing technology's impact on critical business issues.
